On this project our surveying team acted as the Agreed Party Wall Surveyor.

The building owner’s property was a semi-deteched 1930’s house located in Wembley with the proposed works being a single storey rear extension and internal chimney breast removal on both the ground and first floor.

Our Party Wall team served Party Wall Notices upon the adjoining owner, with the adjoining owner dissenting to those Notices and agreeing for us to act as the Agreed Surveyor. We therefore produced both a thorough Schedule of Condition and a Party Wall Award.

In this instance the chimney breast removal meant that the remaining chimney stack within the loft was supported by steal RSJ beams running front to back.
