On this Party Wall job, the Berry Lodge Party Wall team acted as the Agreed Party Wall Surveyor on behalf of the building owners and both adjoining owners.

The building owner’s property was a large 1930’s semi detached house located in Mill Hill, North London.  The building owner’s proposed construction works included; a full width rear extension, removal of the chimney breasts and a large loft conversion.

Our Party Wall team prepared and served the Party Wall Notices upon both of the adjoining owners, both who dissented and agreed for us to act as the impartial Agreed Party Wall Surveyor.

As the work included the construction of a rear extension alongside an adjoining owner’s rear extension. In this case the building owners had to construct the proposed foundations in 1 metre sectional hit and miss bays. While also installing a slip membrane at the junction of the building owners’ foundations and the adjoining owners’ foundations.
