On this project the Berry Lodge Party Wall surveying team acted as the adjoining owners’ Party Wall Surveyor.

The building owner’s property was a building that was being completely demolished and rebuilt to include residential and commercial units.

What was interesting about this job was that the building owner’s proposed worl included demolishing the flank wall of their existing building and in its place building the new wall of the new building.

This led to the requirement for Party Wall access being needed into the adjoining owners’ gardens. We therefore not only agreed the Party Wall Awards with the building owner’s surveyor, we also agreed Access licences upon behalf of the adjoining owners.
