On this project the Berry Lodge Party Wall Surveying team acted as the building owner’s Party Wall Surveyor.

The adjoining owners included both a freehold owner one one side and a large well known housing trust to the other side.

The building owner’s property was a large Victorian end of terrace property based in Chetwynd Road, Tufnell Park, North West London, NW5,

The building owner’s proposed construction works included; a large rear extension, various internal structural works, a complete refurbishment and the rebuild of a damaged Party Fence Wall.

Our Party Wall team served Party Wall Notices upon adjoining owners both who dissented and appointed their own Party Wall Surveyors, we therefore went through the Party Wall Agreement process and agreed Party Wall Awards for both adjoining owners.

On this particular job the Party Fence Wall was heavily damaged as a result of some very large trees in the adjoining owner’s property. We therefore included a contribution for the rebuild of the Party Fence Wall within the Party Wall Award.
